Loading and Saving Overtone Slider Layouts \u2192<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<div id=\"dbimpcontent\">\n<h2 class=\"title\">Saving Images and Screenshots<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"application\">VoceVista Video Pro<\/span> can take screenshots from any part of the user<br \/>\n      interface and save them as image files.<\/p>\n<p>Click on <span class=\"guimenu\">File<\/span> \u2192 <span class=\"guimenuitem\">Export Screenshot<\/span> to open the Export Screenshot Dialog:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"figure\">\n<a name=\"id-1.6.5.4.4.1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"figure-contents\">\n<div class=\"mediaobject\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/en\/saving-images-and-screenshots\/ExportScreenshot.png\" width=\"600\" alt=\"Export Screenshot Dialog\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"title\"><b>Figure\u00a03.50.\u00a0Export Screenshot Dialog<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"figure-break\">\n  <\/p>\n<p>This window has two main sections. On the left side in the <span class=\"guilabel\">Export Area<\/span><br \/>\n      section you specify what you want to save, and on the right side in the<br \/>\n<span class=\"guilabel\"> Output Images<\/span> section you specify where you want to save it, and under which name.<\/p>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-ExportArea\"><\/a>Export Area<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In this section you control if the entire <span class=\"application\">VoceVista Video Pro<\/span> window is<br \/>\n      saved, or if only parts of the interface should be saved. If you choose<br \/>\n      to save only selected views, check those views that should be included.<br \/>\n      <span class=\"application\">VoceVista Video Pro<\/span> will export the smallest rectangle that includes all<br \/>\n      selected views, so in same cases that views may be implicitly included.<br \/>\n      You will see a yellow frame marking the selected area in the Overtone<br \/>\n      Analyzer window.<\/p>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-1.6.5.4.6.3\"><\/a>Image Size<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This field shows the size in pixels of the saved screenshot. You can change the size by resizing the exported windows, by selecting different views to be exported, or by clicking on the <span class=\"guibutton\">Set Size<\/span> button.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-Setsize\"><\/a>Set size<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This button allows to set the size of the exported area by adjusting the size of the main window. First select the views to be exported, and then click on the <span class=\"guibutton\">Set Size<\/span> button to enter the desired target size. <span class=\"application\">VoceVista Video Pro<\/span> will attempt to resize the main window such that the exported views fit your requested size.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-OutputImages\"><\/a>Output Images<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This section determines the location and name of the<br \/>\n      exported image file.<\/p>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-OutputFolder\"><\/a>Output Folder<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Select a folder where the image will be saved. If you check the box <span class=\"guilabel\">use location of current recording<\/span>, the image will be saved in the same location in which the current audio file is stored.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-BaseName\"><\/a>Filename<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Enter the name of the current screenshot. If you check the box <span class=\"guilabel\">use name of current recording<\/span>, the name of the image will be derived from the name of the current audio file. If you save multiple screenshots, a number will be appended to the filename so that each file has a unique name. <span class=\"application\">VoceVista Video Pro<\/span> will not overwrite existing files.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-OutputFiles\"><\/a>send image as email<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>If this is checked, <span class=\"application\">VoceVista Video Pro<\/span> will attempt to compose a new email in your email program with the saved screenshot as an attachment. You still have to specify the recipient and the other content of the email before you can decide to send it. Sending images as email only works if you use local email client  (such as Microsoft Outlook, or Mozilla Thunderbird). It won&#8217;t work with web-based email clients that you use through your browser (such as Gmail).<\/p>\n<p>You can avoid having to explicitly check the <span class=\"guilabel\">send image as email<\/span> box by using the <span class=\"guimenuitem\">Send Screenshot email<\/span> <a class=\"link\" href=\"\/en\/documentation\/program-reference\/options\/keyboard-shortcuts\/\" title=\"3.2.11.\u00a0Keyboard Shortcuts\">keyboard shortcut<\/a> (which by default is <span class=\"guimenuitem\">Shift + F12<\/span>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-ExportNow\"><\/a>Export Now<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This will save the selected output image immediately.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"titlepage\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"title\">\n<a name=\"id-182-ExportwithHotkey\"><\/a>Export with Hotkey<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This button will store the current image export settings and close the<br \/>\n      window. Now whenever you press the <span class=\"guimenuitem\">Save Image<\/span> hotkey, a new screenshot<br \/>\n      will be saved into the output folder. By default, the hotkey is <span class=\"guimenuitem\">F12<\/span>, but<br \/>\n      you can change that in the keyboard settings page. You can check the<br \/>\n<span class=\"guilabel\">include mouse cursor<\/span> option to include the mouse cursor in screenshots<br \/>\n      that are saved with the hotkey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"prevNextLinks bottom\"><span class=\"prevLink\"><a href=\"\/en\/documentation\/program-reference\/loading-and-saving\/loading-and-saving-audio-files\/\">\u2190 3.3.1.
